JUNYA OIKAWA

Oikawa works internationally, and since 2011 he lives in Germany as a guest artist at ZKM | Center for Art and Media Karlsruhe.
He works focus on digital sound expression to pursue organic interaction and relationship between space and time, enviroment and humanity.
His projects include, Transformation (2010, Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo), Bains Numeriques (2014/2016, CDA, France), REFLEX BAUHAUS. 40 OBJECTS - 5 CONVERSATIONS (2019, The Design Museum | Pinakothek der Moderne, Germany), Resonanzen (2017/18, ZKM | Museum of Contemporary Art, Germany), ARD Hoerspieltage (2017, ZKM | Cube, Germany), Semibreve (2016, Theatre Circo, Portugal), AKOUSMA 12 (2015, Usine C, Canada), SONAR - Mirai Moriyama + Jon Filip Fahlstrom + Junya Oikawa (2018, Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse No.1, Japan), GEMISCHTES DOPPEL - Norbert Moeslang + Junya Oikawa (2016, Schwankhalle, Germany), and he was invited for the lecture at the Maison de la culture du Japon a Paris (2016, France), and also he collaborates with companies.
